WHEN IS GAY PRIDE TAKING PLACE IN MADRID?

One of the most traditional events of Madrid Pride, this event that mixes sport and fiesta will take place on June 29. Participants have to run on platforms up to 15 centimeters high along the emblematic Pelayo Street.

MR. GAY SPAIN

The 16th edition of this beauty contest will be held on June 30 with a big gala at Puerta del Sol in Madrid. This is one of the highlights of Madrid Pride, gathering 25,000 spectators in the emblematic square.

MADRID GAY PRIDE DEMONSTRATION

The Madrid Pride Demonstration is the central event of Madrid Pride. Thousands of people march every year on the city streets to defend LGTBI+ rights. As always, it will be led by activists, politicians and other civil society organizations.

This year's demonstration will leave from the Carlos V traffic circle on Saturday, July 1 at 7 p.m. under the slogan "Facing Hate: Visibility, Pride and Resilience", and is expected to gather 2 million people and more than 50 floats. The event always ends in a big open-air party with music, dancing and a fun atmosphere that goes on late into the night.
