ABOUT ARCO MADRID

ARCO Madrid, also known as Feria ARCO, is a beacon in the world of contemporary art. Since its inception in 1982, the Feria de Arte Contemporáneo has become a key player on the global art stage, providing a platform for promoting and showcasing art. The fair is held twice during the year: ARCOmadrid, which takes place in February in the heart of Spain's vibrant capital city, and ARCOlisboa, held in Lisbon in May. 

WHAT’S NEW AT FERIA ARCO?

The fair will be back in Madrid for its 43rd edition in 2024, this time with a special focus on the Caribbean art scene. Over five days, the international art community will meet in Madrid for an immersive experience that bridges Spanish art with global contemporary creations. A total of 207 galleries from 36 countries will be participating.

Spanish galleries represent more than a third of this year's fair, with 73 galleries making their mark. The international segment accounts for over half of the fair, with 134 galleries contributing to the mix. Of these international participants, Latin America is particularly well-represented, with 40 galleries from 13 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.

FERIA ARCO MADRID DATES AND LOCATION

The ARCO Madrid 2024 is set to take place from the 6th to the 10th of March in the halls 7 and 9 of the IFEMA MADRID exhibition center. The first two days will be exclusively reserved for professionals in the field, and all art lovers can visit from Friday, the 8th of March, when the doors will be open for the public from 3 p.m.

HOW TO GET TO FERIA ARCO

To get to ARCO Madrid, you can get a car or taxi which will take you about 30 minutes. Public transportation is a great option, start your journey by hopping on the C3 train line from Sol Station to Nuevos Ministerios. From there, take metro line 8 which will lead you straight to Feria de Madrid. This route will take around 40 minutes.
