MADRID, SPAIN (March 27, 2023) – UMusic Hotels has announced a new project in Madrid's Plaza de Canalejas, one of the most prestigious areas of the capital. The hotel group has signed an agreement with the company Pescaderías Coruñesas, to manage the complex that will occupy about 10,000 square meters and will include the restoration of three historic buildings, the Reina Victoria Theater, the Meneses Building and the Casa Allende, as part of its commitment to recover historic buildings and return them to the city. True to its new and differentiating concept of hospitality, UMusic Hotel Teatro Reina Victoria will combine high-level accommodations with entertainment, offering customers a unique and transformative experience in a space designed for fostering creativity and the local culture, while contributing to the development of the community.

The new five-star luxury hotel, with an opening date to be announced soon, will have 70 rooms and suites, an impressive culinary offering, Spa and Fitness Center, Rooftop bar, and the historic Reina Victoria Theater, with approximately 600 seats, which will undoubtedly become the soul of this new project, reborn with UMusic Hotels and incorporating experiences of Universal Music Group, the world's largest music and entertainment company.

Robert Lavia, CEO of UMusic Hotels, explains that "UMusic Hotel Teatro Reina Victoria is a very ambitious project that will convert three historic buildings, located in one of the most exclusive areas of the capital, into an establishment that combines a five-star luxury hotel and the popular Reina Victoria Theater, allowing it to recover all its splendor". "At UMusic Hotels, we are more than hotels, we celebrate spaces of creativity and entertainment, and this new project meets all the criteria we look for so that guests can have unique cultural experiences". Lavia also points out that the choice for Madrid is because "it has become a European and world capital of entertainment and culture. Its rich cultural legacy, geographical location and philosophy of open doors, without prejudices of any kind, has led to the arrival of great names in hospitality. We have a progressive expansion plan with main objective to bring our new concept of hospitality and entertainment to the main cities of the world, which will strengthen our presence in Europe, the United States and Latin America.”
