RYAN TEDDER OF ONE REPUBLIC, AMAIA, DAVID BISBAL, PABLO LÓPEZ AND MORE ATTEND THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF UMUSIC HOTEL MADRID

September 10, 2023 (Madrid, Spain) – Numerous guests, celebrities and representatives of Madrid culture attended one of the most famous hotel inaugurations in the capital last night at the official opening of UMusic Hotel Madrid, the world's first UMusic Hotel. The revolutionary and vibrant concept of this five-star establishment, located next to Puerta del Sol, combines modern and urban exclusivity with its own cultural and scenic proposal, thanks to housing the historic UMusic Hotel Teatro Albéniz. Three-time Grammy Award winner and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, along with national artists David Bisbal, Pablo López, Amaia and Ángeles Toledano put on an invite-only performance to celebrate the official opening. The evening was hosted by comedy actor Carlos Latre and Inés Hernand.

Other notable guests attending the opening celebration included: Adriana Abenia, Lola Indigo, Aitana, Zoilo, Julia Medina, Itziar Castro, Roger Berruezo, Agoney, Ana Guerra, Candela Gómez, Boris Izaguirre, Norma Ruiz, Irene Villa, Marwan and more.

The choice of a renowned and recognized property within the epicenter of the music and entertainment scene in Madrid, is part of the firm commitment of UMusic Hotels to recover a historic building and return it to the life of the local community and culture. The property was cleverly designed to complement the landscape of Madrid and incorporate elements of the local music scene. The new hotel has 130 rooms and has undergone extensive renovation to transform it into a 5-star establishment with a luxurious design, maximum comfort in all its rooms and suites, two elegant lobbies, El Albéniz Restaurant, an outdoor pool, Nota Alta Rooftop Bar with views of the Madrid skyline), meeting rooms, fitness room and direct access to the renovated UMusic Hotel Teatro Albéniz.

After the seasonal break, UMusic Hotel Teatro Albéniz hosts, from September 20 to April 7, 2024, the performance of the musical "The Phantom of the Opera.” The acclaimed show, based on the novel by Gaston Leroux and with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, finally comes to Madrid with a stellar cast led by Gerónimo Rauch and Talía del Val.
